Family Weekend

This weekend was another fun-filled, family weekend. We headed down to Chattanooga to visit my brother Paul and mingle with all of the family that could make it for the day. We originally were planning to go to his ward's sacrament meeting for his fort-of-homecoming-address. That was cancelled. But we still met afterwards. It was so good to see how he has grown up and you can never pass up a good free meal!
Since we didn't attend his sacrament meeting it worked out because not only were we welcoming home a missionary but getting ready to send one off. Our nephew Tyler, the first grandchild on the Smartt's side, leaves on his mission tomorrow. He is heading to Nagoya(?) Japan. What an adventure. So it turned out that we were able to hear his farewell address. He will be such a fine missionary. We are very proud of the decision he has made and he has truly set the bar for the other 26 cousins. Thanks for being another great example to my boys.
AS you can imagine all this family gathering in 24 hours can be exhausting but the boys love seeing their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Thank goodness for eternal families!
