Tonight for Family Home Evening we were learning about the Articles of Faith. As part of the lesson we were learning/memorizing the first A of F. We repeated it a few times, kept count with our fingers the members of the Godhead, and then would repeat it some more. Liam finally got the hang of it and remembered it. Tipton insisted on doing it all by himself. We obviously didn't make him memorize every word just the important ones. So he said, "I believe...we believe...God the Eternal Father....Holy Ghost...no, not him yet...what was it?...his brother?...no, Jesus...Jesus Christ, His son...Holy Ghost." At this point we are laughing very noticeably. I just love children and all their innocence and efforts. And for those who don't know, the first Article of Faith (which explains the main doctrines and beliefs of our faith) is:
We believe in God the Eternal Father and in His son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
