Family Temple Trip
Yesterday was our ward temple trip. We are assigned to attend the Nashville Temple and rarely go because we never have anyone to watch the kids. So normally we attend the Atlanta Temple and drop the kiddos off at one of our parent's in Chattanooga. But today was a little special. The young women of our ward courageously volunteered to watch families' children so that we could all participate with our ward temple day. So all the youth got up bright and early to do baptisms and then when they finished we, the adults, went in to do a session while the youth watched our kids. It was great! It was memorable for all of us. As for our family, it was nice to take the boys to the temple grounds and actually see a temple and teach them about it. It was a little cold and cloudy but still nice enough to enjoy the day. It was a 3 hour drive there and 3 hours back. It took the entire day. Hyrum did pretty well. It was just so fun to be with the boys and experience this together and to be in the temple with our ward family. Definitely a trip to remember!

Your youth deserves major kuddos...i'm impressed, we usually have to wait for grammy and papa to join us to do the babysitting chore.
How wonderful to go with your whole ward. I don't even think we have enough youth to watch all of our kids...we are definitely a little misproportioned.
