Winter Wonderland

All the cold weather has been welcomed at our home. Yes, it's FREEZING but the ice makes for some great fun and lots of hot chocolate. As a family, we could hardly wait to head out despite the darkness. Probably not our best decision but when your kid yells, "This is the best day ever!!!" it's all good.
The next morning the boys were eager to head out. Much to our surprise the driveway was already filled with the neighborhood kids. That made everything even better.

Hyrum no longer wanted to wait for a turn. First sight of an available sled and he was gone. We were cracking up because he was FLYIN'! He loved every minute. (Note--the road is not snow you are seeing but a sheet of ice pretty much.)
I think we totalled around 8-10 kids going up and down.

That is so good!! I love the pictures, so much fun! Looks like everyone liked the snow there!

So you must be the "cool" house on the block! That cracks me up about Hyrum. He needs to teach Charlie a thing or two . . . it took that dang kid a good five minutes before he would even WALK in the snow, much less sled! By the time he started enjoying sledding, we had to go in!
