My Lovely Lump

I couldn't help but have that inappropriate song by Black Eyed Peas pop in my head while typing this. My brain needs cleaned.

Our little guy showed up with this lump in his neck just two weeks after getting over Hand,Foot, and Mouth disease. (A very mild version, thankfully.) It was HUGE! About the size of a golf ball. Like any parent it made us pretty nervous. So what else do you do? Browse the Internet for answers. We tried to tell ourselves that he had an infection. He showed NO signs of infection.

Monday morning we were at the pediatrician. It was strep, much to our surprise and the doctors. We were all relieved.
