Family Time

One day we had a full afternoon of family time. Being surrounded by the mountains and tons of trails, the obvious idea was to take a hike. We chose a 6 mile hike with waterfalls (it was a sun versus shade issue and we chose longer hike with shade). Not ideal with little kids but the boys were really tough. It really was beautiful. We couldnt' have asked for better weather that day or for the whole week.

your boys hiked six miles?!?! i am so impressed. i have the laziest children on earth. luke would have been crying after the first mile about how his legs were getting ready to fall off. so fun... i miss nature. sometimes this concrete jungle makes me wanna scream.
