Love Thy Neighbor
I almost feel embarrassed to write about our "little disaster" since the terrible destruction of April 27, 2011.
It was just two days before the big storm swept through the South. The winds were ridiculously strong and a quick downpour passed through that Monday evening. Not long afterwards we received a phone call from our neighbor this tree had split and fell on their cars. Yikes! Problem, we didn't know if it was their tree or ours. They didn't know either.
Gratefully no one was hurt. It wasn't 30 minutes that we had 4 neighbors and then some friends of their family show up and start working. It was heart warming. We have been blessed to be surrounded by good neighbors. And it's a good thing we like them because now there is no barrier between our houses!
