A Perfect Ten
Liam has officially hit the double digits. YIKES!
I can still remember the anticipation of Liam's arrival.
Our first child.
Jarom in his first year of Law School preparing for his first exams.
In our first house.
Our first year in Knoxville.
I guess we just decided to do a lot of things for the first time all at once! Yet, I have learned having that first child was only the beginning of many first.
10 years later. . .
Liam is growing to quite a fine young man. He loves to read. He has his moments of the terrible tens (you know, taunt-your-brothers-for-pleasure stage) but overall is a great helper for the family with a kind heart. Being the oldest is hard and we continue to have many first with Liam as he introduces us to new things as parents. It helps prepare us with what to expect down the road. He loves being with friends and cousins.
Even though he was the new kid at school this year he was voted by his class to be the Student Council representative. His teacher told me how friendly he was with the other students and they all enjoyed working with him. He was very excited he won the vote!
The boy is very competitive and works hard when it comes to sports. He is quite the little athlete.
He hates jeans with a passion and will only wear "soft" sports pants, even if they are dirty or have holes. He'd rather freeze and wear basketball shorts. He hates jeans.
He has a kind heart and will hug and love his baby brother, Marshall. There are days that Marshall prefers Liam over everyone else. He is sensitive to other kids feelings
Liam is a great blessing in our life and I'm so glad we have the opportunity to raise him on this earth. Happy Birthday, Liam! We love you!
You are definitely a PERFECT TEN.

He requested Ooey-Gooey Bars for his birthday.
