The Final Two

It's kind of sad but exciting all at once.
The baby of the family is officially TWO years old.
Bret.  Bret.  Bret.
This little guy is such a joy in our family.

Bret is overall a happy baby toddler.
He loves the outdoors (may have another mower in the family).
He loves shoes, especially boots.

He enjoys trains, Elmo, cars, watching movies and playing on my Kindle.
He love 'Let It Go" from Frozen and Olaf.
He is very good at figuring things out and putting things together.
He learned to put on his shoes and doing puzzles.
He's a smart little fella and that's not just 'cause I'm his mother. ;)
He is our lightest eater and junkiest eater.  I always say this is because I can afford to buy snacks now!  I've ruined him.
The kid has a major sweet tooth.
He loves noodles.
Almost got his first stitches trying to get some noodles.
He loves water, more specifically taking showers and baths.
If there is water running, he's there.
His words are getting better and he is saying more each day.
To simplify things however, every sibling is Tipton.  Grandmother and Papa are Papa.  Grandma and Grandpa are Ganpa.
I guess it's just easier that way.  He knows the difference.
He loves animals, real and stuffed.
He's a pretty huggable dude.
He loves all kinds of critters.
The worms never have a chance.  I just hope those worms turn into snakes!
He has a high tolerance for pain.

This year for his birthday it was small and simple.
He had no idea it was his birthday.
That makes things easy.
He was happy to have balloons and cupcakes.
He was happy.

That's why we didn't buy him anything for his birthday.
We are awesome parents like that.
This year we re-gifted.
Yep.
When you have five boys with every toy out there, it's pretty hard to justify buying one more thing, just for the sake that it's his birthday, that he doesn't know he's having.

This was Jarom's face when Bret was so excited that he got trains!  Classic.
The older boys thought that it was so funny to re-gift but still had plenty of excitement giving the gift!

It was a great day for the little guy!
Nothing fancy but perfect.

We are greatly blessed to have Bret in our family. He's hard not to love.  Though a surprise in the beginning, our family would not be complete without him.  The Lord had a plan and it included this little man.
Happy Birthday, Bret!  We love you!
