Labor Day
The Labor day break the weather was so nice. The younger ones came out and drew a massive chalk car city out by the pool. You can tell what they observe in life by the things they put in their city, such as the temple, and a church building, the presidents mansion, an airport, Shaw industries, Walmart, and Amazon.

The boys also decided to camp out with the good weather. It made for a nice long weekend.
With me being in school all volunteering has come to a halt, including soccer. I was surprised but Jarom volunteered to coach Bret's team this year and Liam assistant when he can. He has liked it more than I think he thought he would, and it's fun to hear them constantly talking about their strategies for practice and the games. We also have been surprised to find Bret to be a pretty good little goalie.

One of the exciting things about my class and the holiday the boys were able to do a chemistry lab with me making Gluep and Ooblik. Some pretty cool and fun stuff.

Today we got a new branch counsel called, its always interesting to see what changes happen with the new leaders and vibe. The new branch president is Gary Blevins, whom I grew up calling Buck. He's a really good man.
Unfortunately, a great sickness has been passing around the house and even on our turns to go to church, we had to miss. Almost exactly 2 weeks after we returned from our Ohio trip we each started coming down with something. One at a time and me being the last. Of course, we are all curious if we have the infamous Covid-19 but we don't want to bother being tested so we've tried to be cautious and wear our mask. My personal opinion is it's some type of cold or allergies. Jarom seemed to be the only one that got a fever and the worst case.
