FOUR. CUATRO. QUATRE.
Oh, it doesn't matter how you say it, it was going to happen. And so it did. Hyrum turned 4. Each year I become more convinced that time flies. With Hyrum that time has definitely been fun. As you can see, there is rarely a dull moment with this kiddo around. And this is pretty much what his entire photo album looks like. . . crazy, silly, fun. He refuses to take a serious picture. If we make him he looks mad probably because he his.
Hyrum has been counting down to his birthday since about JANUARY. Could we say excited? We constantly asked what he wanted to do for his special day and for his meal. All he wanted to do was go to Toys'R'Us and get Thomas stuff. And that's just what we did.
I'm constantly "embarrassingly amazed" at my kids' sense of style. *cringe*
Happy Birthday to such a truly sweet and tender heart of a boy. We love your jokes, kisses, prayers, and help around the house. Happy Birthday!

All he wanted to do was go to Toys'R'Us and get Thomas stuff. And that's just what we did. He pretty much browsed the entire store and sat in every new style of power-wheel. He enjoyed his free packet of goodies and balloon from the store and even getting his name announced over the intercom.
Lucky for him, there happen to be a little festival going on in the mall parking lot next door so we couldn't possibly drive by. It was unbearably hot. We managed and could have very easily drove by.
Next stop, home. He requested "basketti" and meatballs (no salad), orange and white ice cream with chocolate cake. I begged Jarom to make the cake. He makes an amazing chocolate cake. . . and if we must recall my failure with all my kids' birthdays last year, I was not making another cake. It wasn't too hard to convince Jarom because he remembered how bad the cakes were.

Hyrum did not want his presents wrapped. But we wouldn't let him open them until we "officially" sang the Happy Birthday song, which was with the cake that was after the dinner. He actually waited and stared at the box. He couldn't even finish his meal and he didn't even have any of his cake!
FINALLY.
